For almost 30 years, I’ve hosted a just-for-fun pool for the Men’s college tourney known as March Madness. I’m now on year five of also hosting a pool for the women’s tournament! It’s a great chance for me to have a connection with people I’ve known my whole life from all different places.
Connection is the point! How we do is not the point! I’ve been beaten by our youngest daughter when she was 8 months old; she picked teams by grabbing one of the papers I put in front of her, so give it a try! The real fun for me is focusing on something for three weeks with all my friends.
