  1. I am needing to hear from Friends on technology in their lives and their children’s lives. I feel so much pressure from society, but am drawn to the Mennonite practice of evaluating each new technology and it’s potential impact on our lives and spirituality. My latest challenge is the iPod. My 6 year old son is becoming more aware of music and wants one. My instinct is that everyone being in their own personal bubble affects their ability to connect to those around them. I see young people so concerned with being entertained every moment that they are becoming unable to put their own comfort aside for the sake of the group. My oldest daughter (23) says “all his friends probably already have one”. Does anyone share my concern?
