Late, late, late.

Last Sunday was a great Sunday in worship, and I haven’t blogged about it. Bill Cathers shared powerfully. Bill’s a member of our church family, and he was very good friends with Jim Elliot and 4 of the 5 men who were speared to death fifty years ago, trying to bring the message of Jesus to the Auca tribe in Ecuador. Jim Elliot’s widow, Elizabeth, told their story in “Through Gates of Splendor.”

Any time Bill shares, I’m moved. He knows Jesus intimately. But Sunday, hearing his story, was something special. I’d encourage you to listen for yourself here (click on January 8.) It’ll be worth it.

Here’s a link to what I shared last Sunday, as we began our journey through the book of John.
