I guess the moral of the story is that the #6 seed line is the seed of death. In both brackets upsets propel #11 seeds to victory. #7 seed “This Christmas” got the heave-ho from the juggernaut that was N*SYNC, but #7 “Last Christmas” by Wham! would not go down in defeat. Which either proves that nostalgia and the past rule over the present, or that 80’s and 90’s sex symbols cannot be defeated…
For round 2, I will declare winners at 10 pm PST on Christmas Eve. Then round 3 will be up and accepting votes for two days, closing at 9 pm PST on Dec. 26.
