Our semi-final round resulted in two upsets. Pentatonix took out the number one seed Piano Guys (I credit Jennifer Perez with that one, as she first criticized the bias inherent in the Piano Guys video, and then posted the Pentatonix video. She’s an influencer!) Ella Fitzgerald took down number three Christmas at Luther, so I can take minor solace in the fact that the woman who beat my selection may go on to win it all.
