I’m excited to go to a wedding tonight for two great people who make a great match. And I realized I’m getting older, because it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a wedding where I wasn’t involved in the ceremony. (Which could lead to a whole new way of dividing life: all your friends are getting a two wheeler bike, all your friends are graduating High School, all your friends are getting married…now all that’s left is all your friends’ KIDS are getting married…or grandkids…ok, I guess I’m not THAT old.)
Anyway, I remembered that one of my habits at a wedding is to recite my vows from my wedding, as a reminder 15 years later. So, I felt it my civic duty to ask those of you who are married to take just a moment as you read this and remember your vows to your spouse, and re-commit to him or her those same promises.
(Did you do it yet?)
