My songs for today came within minutes of each other.

A friend sent an e-mail reminding me of U2’s Yahweh, in particular these lines:

“…always pain before the child is born – why the dark before the dawn”

And then a few minutes later, while jogging, it was Switchfoot’s Learning to Breathe on my iPod:
