New Switchfoot

I’ve given the new Switchfoot CD, “Nothing is Sound,” a quick once-through listen. I’d been a little afraid, cause I heard their first single (“Stars”), and it seemed a little bit cliche. But those fears are fading…

What I loved about “The Beautiful Letdown” was their amazing ability to speak yearning for something more into people’s lives. They seem to me to be about the best I know at painting an intriguing picture for needing Jesus. We’ll see what I like about this new one.
