Aubrey met Snoopy at Knotts Berry Farm! And our day there was really great for all the kids. It wasn’t very crowded, so the lines were short.
Camp Snoopy was Aubrey’s favorite; she went on all kinds of different rides, and loved them all. She had so much fun on this trip, it was so awesome to watch and listen to her. My favorite moment was getting on “Lucy’s Tug Boat” with her. It swings back and forth, and then it starts spinning. When it started spinning, she just started giggling and giggling, more than I’ve ever heard her giggle. She loved it, and as soon as we got off, she got back on again.
Hayley and I went on “Roaring Rapids” together. In the line they had all these signs: “You WILL get wet; you might get DRENCHED!” She laughed every time we passed one. We got on one of the rafts with a family who had a high school girl ALSO named Hayley, and on our first time through, the boy in their family was the one who got drenched. I hardly got wet at all, and Hayley only got her shoe wet. She asked if we could stay on for a second trip, and they let us.
I got absolutely drenched three different times. She laughed, and laughed, and laughed!
Talli loved Knott’s, and I loved it with her. We hit Ghostrider first (with Grandpa), and then went crazy. We did Silver Bullet three times (once in the front row, which was the best), Boomerang twice, and Supreme Scream twice (they take you up thirty stories, and just drop you…it’s nuts!). We paid five bucks to go on the Supreme Swing, and that was unbelievably cool. The only bummer of the day was that Xcelerator was closed, and they closed the Perilous Plunge before we got on it. We’ll have to go back!
