August 27 was a first! What I shared in the message actually was based on a blog post. I thought it would be good for us to talk, in Evangelical Friends circles, about WHY the bible is important to us.
Some of the feedback I got afterwards was interesting. Several saw it for what it was: a postmodern defense for the authority of scripture, without using any of the buzzwords.
