After weeks of silence, we at least know that the four men taken hostage in Iraq are alive. However, that news was coupled with a renewed threat that they will be killed unless all Iraqi prisoners are released.
These men are with Christian Peacemaker teams, an organization I respect. Matt Chandler, from our church family, is currently serving in Palestine with CPT, and has spent several years in Baghdad working for peace as well. You can find more information on the hostages here.
