Things are good. Sometimes, that means I blog a lot…sometimes, it means I slow down. This has been a slow down. But I want you to know things are good in many senses of the word with me.
Here’s what I shared yesterday in worship, about risk taking in obedience to God.
Last weekend, I had an experience of the Powers of the Universe feeling out of control, in a small group/worship-sharing thing. A Friend stepped out of all the rules of the format to minister so directly, nearly nose-to-nose with another Friend, in a way that was scary to all of us, even those just watching, because we didn’t know what was going on, but it was healing and life-giving, auguring salvation. Half of me wanted to protect us from it and the other half knew I was in the presence of the Divine.
At the same time, it didn’t fix anything. God’s timetable is still a mystery. But the door was opened.
Keep my commandments is still a powerful message.
