this blog/blogging

My name is Gregg, and once upon a time this blog was created as an outlet and a discipline for writing. Along the way, I unexpectedly made some new friends and joined a community. I had fun, and in typical Gregg fashion, I became addicted and a little too obsessive about it. I’ve been away for several months, months filled with good, other things. I’d like to announce my re-entry into the blog community, hopefully with a more healthy perspective.

I’m planning to start slowly. I have many sermons to post, simply because our church web page links to them and I’ve felt guilty not updating them. Those will probably appear over the next day or two. Then, I plan to post some FUN stuff…

Tomorrow, I’m flying to Indianapolis. On Thursday, my brother and my dad will pick me up, and we will spend 4 nights in 4 different cities at 4 different baseball games: Cincinnati, St. Louis, Detroit, and Pittsburgh. Baseball is in the lifeblood of my family, so this will be a fun journey for us. I haven’t spent this much time with just my brother and my dad since I left home for college. I’m hoping to blog photos here and there of the journey, and when I can find free wi-fi, maybe a post or two.

It’s good to be back!

  1. Oooh. Good to see you again. I’m in my own period of life without blogging (almost). We almost crossed paths – we spent the last week in western Wisconsin. Y’all should make a pilgrimage to visit the Giants at home. I will have to put an appointment in my calendar to come back and read about the book of Hebrews.

  2. Hey Robin!

I should come down to AT&T Park. My brother and my dad have made the journey, but I haven’t. I hear it’s great! Hope all is well.
